Talking 'bout Books & Shadow Shot Sunday #121

Surprise! A lavender & an orange gazania have decided to grow in a crack in the paving & makes for a good shadow.

I found 'The Bone Garden' a gruesome but interesting read. Then it was 'A Family Affair' by Caro Peacock - a novel about a Victorian lady detective, set in London & Buckinghamshire. 17 pages to go, very light reading, just what I need at the moment. Might even see if I can get other books written by her.

Great shadows, I love it when plants turn up where least expected.

Volunteer plants are the most fun. I give them a lot of credit for persistence and tend to let them grow. Glad you did, too - you got some nice shadows.
