New fabric

Rather pleased with the pieces of fabric I ordered from Spoonflower. Dreadful photos, sorry!

satin fat quarter
basic cotton ultra fat quarter
Kona cotton ultra fat quarter (much deeper blue (than in pic)
basic cotton ultra test swatch (also much deeper red)
The satin fabric is my favourite. Now I just need to make up my mind what to do with them!

Fantastic drop of rain
Sparky not sure what to do,

then decided his basket out of the rain would be the best place.
I got wet in the sea & out in the rain. Wonderful!

Fence installation

I hung up 14 little 'works of art' on the fence at the Lagoon 3 days ago - wonder if they will still be there after Easter.

The last few days

Computer still very sick!!! Think it was opening an email from (so called) Australia Post. In spite of this I have had an enjoyable few days. On Tuesday I was taken to see ''The Lady in the Van'', Maggie Smith (who is just 3 months older than me) is such an excellent actress, so many good one liners delivered. Have to try & get the book by Alan Bennett.
Then yesterday I went to the Lagoon but didn't go in as the wind was much too strong!
The wind blew my hair back so it looks like I'm bald!!!
Then yesterday I met up with another couple of friends at 'Neptunes' Two Rocks.
Excellent fish & chips

then it was on to the Library eating Mud Cake with all the guys at Ancestry Family History Group (no photo).

Books to read

Currently reading 'The Woman in the Picture' a novel by Katherine McMahon.
About London in 1926 - Evelyn Gifford is on of the first female lawyers. The writing can be a bit pedantic at times.

Feeling very sad & a bit sick after hearing that there was a bad crash on Two Rocks road last night. I heard the sirens & helicopter at about 9o/c. 3 killed & 4 seriously injured.
So please, take care & stay safe.

Talking about books

A happy, sad book - so well written.

Another well written book, recommended.
